Strawberry
The strawberry is a member of the rose family. The garden strawberry was first bred in France, in the 1750s. Today the strawberry is considered the most important and well-known small fruit of the Western hemisphere. They are low in fat but high in vitamin C, fiber, folic acid and potassium. One cup of strawberries contains only 55 calories.
