Flower Seed Announcement

For over 100 years Stokes Seeds has been proud to support the flower and horticultural industry by providing an extensive selection of flower seeds to growers like yourself across Canada. We have always enjoyed playing a small part in helping to add some colour and beauty to the lives of consumers.

Today it is our duty to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to exit the flower seed part of our business effective July 1, 2024. We have made this decision in order to focus our attention and effort on the growing vegetable seed and vegetative flower cutting aspects of our business. 

While we loved the flower seed marketplace, an analysis of our business indicated our business model was not sustainable to successfully continue in that market segment.  Over the past several decades our vegetable seed and vegetative flower business have continued to grow substantially and require our focused attention and support.

We plan to maintain a selection of sunflowers to support the growing agritourism sector of our farm market customers
