Pumpkin Seed

The name pumpkin originated from the Greek word for "large melon" which is "pepon." Pumpkins are believed to have originated in the ancient Americas. They are grown all around the world for a variety of reasons ranging from agricultural purposes (such as animal feed) to commercial and ornamental sales. They range in size from less than a pound to over 1,000 pounds.
