A blend of pure white and pure red, plus eyed colors of deep blue, mid-blue, wine red, lavender and salmon.
(10 in/25 cm) Mature plants are more vigorous than other strains. New genetic breakthrough provides 85% plus plug potential and 12-13 weeks to flower in paks from seed. Mixture is blended from separate colors; pure red, pure white, pink/white eye, purple/white eye, rose/ white eye. Allow 14 weeks from seed to bloom in 4 in./10 cm pots. Packet contains 25 seeds.

GREENHOUSE: For spring sales, sow from Feb. 15th - April 1st, 1 oz/28 g sows approx. seven (20x12 in/51x31 cm) flats @ 500-600 seedlings per flat, depending on germination. Water flats thoroughly with warm water, use well drained sandy soil or Jiffy Mix. Space seeds evenly, press in firmly and cover lightly with soil. Verbena germinate quite irregularly in 7-20 days and sometimes does better in total darkness. Minimum soil temp. of 65-70°F/18-21°C is necessary, so use bottom heat. Transplant carefully in 3 or 4 weeks. Grow at 50°F/10°C. Use a fungicide regularly and keep in a well ventilated area. Watch out for white fly and aphids.
DIRECT SOWING: Sow outside May 15th. Broadcast seed thinly where it is to bloom. Press into soil and cover lightly. Thin seedlings 8-12 in/20-31 cm apart.
