GREENHOUSE: For Spring transplants, sow Feb. lst. Germinate @ alternation soil temps. of 50-60 degrees F./10-16 degree C. for 14 days. Sow 1/8 in/3 mm deep, cover seeds with fine soil, and firm. Transplant into 3 in/18 cm peat pots or paks, about 6 weeks after seeding.
Grow cool @ 55° F/13° C to prevent soft growth. Flowers are very large, just like large yellow Gerbera. Stems are quite long. Doronicum makes a good cut flower. Keep plants well cut for a continuous supply of flowers.
HOME GARDEN: Sow outdoors Apr. lst. @ 6 seeds per in/25 mm; 1/8 in/3 mm deep; cover seeds with fine soil and firm. Thin seedlings or transplant 16 in/41 crn apart. Use as a long -stem cut flower.
