Annual (3-4 ft/91-122 cm) 50,000 seeds per oz/28 gr

GREENHOUSE: Sow Mar. 15th. 1/8 in/3 mm deep and cover seed lightly. Use well drained sandy soil. Seed should germinate @ 60-80% in about 24 days. Keep soil temp. @ 65-75°F/18-24°C use lukewarm water to maintain soil temp. when watering. Transplant into paks, colored foliage sells on sight.

HOME GARDEN: Sow outdoors in a row during late April or early May in a dry sunny location. Thin seedlings to 2 in/5 cm apart. Amaranthus should be transplanted to speed up and improve the coloring of the leaves, which seem to be retarded by direct seeding.

TRANSPLANT: 20-36 in/51-91 cm apart, in a hot, dry location. Keep well sprayed for disease and insects. Water sparingly as too much moisture may prove disastrous.
