Vigorous semi dwarf plants are tolerant to drought, high heat plus wet cool conditions! Makes an excellent yellow bedding plant for extremely hot and dry summer locations. Similar in appearance to Dahlberg Daisy, but produces more yellow blooms on uniform, compact mounded 8 in/20 cm plants in pots or 12-14 in/30-35 cm plants in the garden. Plants thrive in full sun, warm temperatures and long day-length. Seed is supplied in a multi pellet.
CULTURE: Crop-time 8 to 12 weeks. Sow indoors in a sunny greenhouse location by Feb. 15. Cover multi-seed pellet lightly with vermiculite. Germinate at 65-75°F/18-22°C for 3-5 days. Use 392 or 406 plugs or regular seed flats. Grow plants at 75°F/22°C days and 64°F/18°C nights. Plants flower in 8 to 12 weeks and spread to 24 in/60 cm at maturity. Space plants 8 in/20 cm apart in the garden or transplant into 306 and 1801 premium paks for sale. Multi-pellets should germinate at approximately 90%.
