(8 in/20 cm) The mini flowered single Tagetes type is very dwarf with distinct mound shaped, fern-like plants. Dime size lemon yellow blooms cover the plants. Use for window boxes, borders or rock gardens. Pkt contain 75 seeds.

Growing Information

MARIGOLD DWARF FRENCH SINGLE Annual

Approx. 10,000 seeds per oz./28 g. Height 6 - 16 in/15 - 41 cm

GREENHOUSE: Sow from Feb. 15th - Apr. 1st for late April and early May flowers (approx. 8 - 10 weeks before selling season). 1 oz/28 g sows 8 (20 x 12 in./51 x 31 cm) flats at 900 - 1000 seedlings per flat. For best results use bottom heat maintaining a soil temp of 80°F/27°C. Cover seed with 1/4 in/6 mm of soil, keep moist using tempered water. Transplant about 25 days after sowing. Grow at 50°F/10°C for stocky plants.

DIRECT SOWING: Sow outside anytime after June 1st. Transplant in 3 weeks about 8 in/20 cm apart. A systemic insecticide to control red spider, once a month during the summer is recommended.
